| Ladysmom's Full Review: Neo Synephrine Spray 12 Hour 0.5oz |
Several years ago, before I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, I came down with what I thought was the worst cold I had ever had in my life. Me being the type of person that hates to go to the doctor and spend that time and money just to be told that I decided to take matters in my own hands.
I drove up to the little corner drugstore in my town and asked the pharmacist what I could do besides take Tylenol as the congestion was causing me not to sleep at night. He suggested that I try Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray to get some relief and to only use if for three days and if I did not get any relief by that time to get to the doctor.
I made my purchase of Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray and went back home. The pharmacist said to blow your nose good before you try using the spray in order for it to get where it needs to go to start providing the relief you need so I did.
Then I proceeded to follow the directions on the back of the box that it comes in.
Directions
Adults and children 6 to 12 years of age (with adult supervision): 2 or 3 sprays in each nostril not more often than every 10 to 12 hours. Do not exceed 2 doses in any 24-hour period.
Children under 6 years of age: consult a doctor.
To spray, squeeze bottle quickly and firmly.
The first time I used the Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray I used the minimum dose of two sprays in each nostril, which by the way leaves a nasty taste on the back of your tongue as it is going down.
I grabbed a book and propped myself up on the sofa waiting for it to start working. In about twenty minutes I was able to take in a little air through my nose but not much. That was a whole lot better than I was doing earlier as I wasn’t even able to breathe through my nose at all.
When my twelve hours was up I used the Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray again and this time I used the maximum dose of three sprays in each nostril as I was going to bed and wanted to at least try to get some rest.
With the maximum dose I was able to breathe much better though not completely unstopped I could at least breathe. That night I did get several hours of uninterrupted sleep that I so badly needed.
I followed these directions for the three days that he said and at the end of that time I was a whole lot better but not completely over the cold I had and I did go to the doctor and was told to continue with the Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray for another couple of days. After that time I was well and stopped using the medication.
Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray is a wonderful product for those that have a completely clogged nose but it can become addictive, it is one of those products that the more you use the more you need it. Stop using after the recommended amount of time no matter what you feel like unless told to continue by your doctor.
The Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray has a rebound affect on some people. The mucus membranes become swollen and you have to use more and more to help them so that you can breathe and after awhile the spray is the only thing that does help. JUST USE CAUTION!!!!!!

All of the above came off the back of the box of Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray.
I do still keep a bottle or two around the house for my family as they are able to use the Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray for their colds and congestion and now that flu season is fast approaching I really want to be prepared. There is nothing like getting up in the middle of the night with your children or husband sick and having to drive 10 miles just to find something that will work until you can get them to the doctor the next morning.
The Neo-Synephrine 12-Hour Spray does work but I strongly urge you to use caution when using.
Thanks for reading.
