The Bottom Line: Lisha might not be the most fashionable Aisha but she has the coolest toys.

| Freak369's Full Review: Neopets Trading Card Game Battle for Meridell Holo... |
Collecting the cards from the Battle For Meridell series has been a blast but it's taken a long time to get all 140 of them. The last time I did a deck count I only needed 8 more cards to complete it but I have picked up a few since then so I am that much closer to completing it. The brood were into the card a few years ago but grew out of it when the TCG events became fewer and fewer. Even so, I still collect them and hold out for the next series which will create new TCG events. In the mean time I get a kick out of cards like this one for their visual charm and their stats and playability. Lisha is an Aisha so she has some of their overall traits but she isn't exactly one to sit back and wait for things to happen for her. Like her older brother, Jeran, she is as brave as they come, fiercely loyal and rarely backs down from any type of encounter hence her impressive stats on this card.
Neopet TCG "Lisha" 13/140
Imagery: Without a doubt, this is one of the cutest cards in the battle For Meridell Deck. What could be more adorable than Lisha the Aisha in her school uniform holding a Nova Pop? But wait, that isnt a sucker, it's the Rod of Supernova that's featured on the "Lisha's Wand" card [14/140]. Both are Holofoil cards and are pretty rare to come by but they are not impossible to find in packs. The Holofoil only adds to the look and appeal of the card; tilt it from side to side and it shimmers; they could have said it was a hologram card but it doesnt have the same exact properties. The Supernova is the most delicious shade of purple you will ever see and Lisha's tone is warm but her best feature on this card is the small heart that you see in her ear. Well, at least I think it is an ear. The background is a little boring but Lisha and the Supernova more than make up for it.
Deck Series: Battle For Meridell
Promo Card: No
Strength: +14
Agility: +16
Magic: +17
Intelligence: +18
When you look at the stats on this card you might start to drool, any time a +14 is the lowest stat on a card you have to smile and know that when you play it, someone is going to let out a groan. Even though there are no banking points associated with this card it is still nice to have because of the ability to add another Hero to another arena. I have only played this a few times and I ended up losing because I got a little bigheaded about my move. I didnt make that mistake again. If you are building a strong hero deck, this is definitely a card that you will want to add to it.
Year Released: 2004

This is a Holofoil card so some people are going to try to inflate the price on it; yes the stats are nice and the perks of the card are impressive but the most I would ever pay for this is $1.00 and that was if it was brand new and in mint condition. The cards are well made and even slightly used Holofoil cards are going to still look like they are mint. Sadly, I have seen online stores selling this for upwards of $5.00 and I'm sorry, I love the thrill of collecting these cards but there are only three cards total that I would ever consider paying that much for and it isn't the Lisha card.
Directions: This is one of the easier Lisha cards to play. Al that is required is that you have an Air or Light pet that you can tap during a contest. When you make the choice to use this card in an event you can add one of your other Hero cards to one of the four arenas of your choice. This can give you a real advantage, not just from the stat boost from this card but being able to add a hero to another arena. You can not add another Hero card to the same arena that Lisha is in unless that is set up in advance when you are fine tuning the rules for the contest.
Quote: "Once she dreamed of great adventures in distance places. Now she's living those dreams every day." Lisha is one of the cooler hero characters from the series and she is extremely popular at the website. She is a great role model for young warriors but she never lets her ego get out of check.
There are some very cool Lisha TCG's to be had besides this one, some of my favorites include "Lishas Charm", "Lisha's Glasses" and "Lisha's Wand". I have been trying to get the "Lisha vs Zombie Lisha Stamp" for a while not but the price on it is through the roof. The last time I checked it was in the neighborhood of 75,000 NP which is a tad bit too rich for a gallery item. There aren't that many completely dedicated Lisha items at the site but if you are a fan of hers you will want to get the "Lisha and Jeran Plushie Set", "Lisha Of Meridell", "Wind Up Lisha Toy" and "Lisha Balloon".
Since this is a Holofoil card you wont be able to get a really good look at it until you see it in person. The image here is absolutely horrible and should not be sued to judge the visual aspect of the card in any way. If you want to get a little better look at it you can look at your TCG deck at the website or cut and paste this link into your browser window:

The Bottom Line
With impressive stats and the ability to add a hero to another arena, this is an easy card to play when you want to boost your stats and cement your position in a specific arena. The imagery of it is really nice but the background is a little on the boring side. This is a great card for beginners to use as it doesnt require a lot of planning or ask too much of the user to work it into an event. All in all this is one of the better Lisha card to collect.
