Pros: Nice looking card, swaps stats for both players, high Magic rating.
Cons: Can work against you if an opposing player has a lower stat card in play.
The Bottom Line: Every time I see this card in play I have to laugh, most people forget that you have to swap your stats with the other player.

Collecting and playing with the cards from the Neopet Trading Card Game can be a lot of fun if you take the time to learn the rules and get familiar with some of the more powerful cards. The Zafara Double Agent is a nice card to have but you have to really hold off on using it until your player has something of stat value on the boards and in play. Using this card essentially swaps the stats and nullifies the active Items that are in that specific arena. Visually the card looks nice and shows her in action stealing some papers but the stats are a little on the low side. This has a completely different image than what is featured on the virtual Zafara Double Agent card at the website and the two should;t be confused. If you are going to try to add this card to your virtual deck, make sure that you add "TCG" to the name of the card when you are searching
Imagery: The Zafara Double Spy is a very tricky vixen and this card really allows you to see some detail of her. She is classified in the Light species but not a lot is known about her. One of the reasons people are attracted to her at the Neopet website is to get one of the hardest avatars around [you need to have the plushie to get the avatar, Zafara Double Agent Plushie]. Using her grace and charm she is lifting some papers off of a table; more than likely she will sell them to the highest bidder or use them for her own gains. I might be wrong here but if you look closely in the background [left side] you can see what looks like the Darigan Citadel. If you are into collecting that cards and not playing them in an event then this card will make for a nice addition to your collection. Don't pay more than .50 cents for it regardless of what anyone says about it.

This can be considered a rare card by some people but I got three of them from the three boxes of cards that I purchased. It has, at present moment, a suggested resale value of between .30 and .60 cents depending on the condition of the card. Since all of the Neopet TCG cards are well made, even those that have seen some action should still be in good shape. I stored two of them away and used one of them for gaming; that one is still in great shape with no scratches or surface marring. Would I ever consider selling it? If the price ever went through the roof I would, the Zafara isn’t one of my favorite characters and I doubt that I would miss the card if I were to sell it.
Directions: When you choose to use this card it swaps out the point stats with the other player. In some regards that can be a great thing but you have to be careful when you opt to use this because it could work against you. This also renders the Items that are in play useless; that can be a very bad thing if you are planning an attack or have tapped cards on the board.

The Bottom Line
This isn’t one of my favorite cards in the Battle For Meridell series but it is nice to have if someone is being cocky in a game and you want to knock them down a few pegs. Some people have said that the Zafara Double Agent isn’t a good role model and shows kids that they can get ahead by being evil and double crossing others. This is a game, kids know it is a game. Some just collect the cards, others like to go to sanctioned events and show off their decks. Saying that this card is a "bad role model" is a complete joke. It is a freakin' trading card - if you lack parenting skills, please don't blame a piece of pressed cardboard. The Zafara Double Agent trading card looks nice and can throw your opponent for a loop but if you aren't careful it can work against you.
