I'm always skeptical of products that claim they improve or quicken skin conditions, so I was so happy to find that Neosporin actually lives up to their claim!
The main reason I bought this was because I had gotten a very visible scar on my face. Needless to say, I wanted it gone as soon as possible. I had heard of Neosporin for a while, but never needed it, so I never bought it. However, when this came up, I went out and got it.
The best thing about this product is also its main function. Neosporin has proven to be effective in healing wounds faster and preventing further and significant scarring on minor cuts and abrasions. I used it until the scab and dead skin naturally came off, but what really pleased me was that it sped up this process! Normally, scabs would take much longer to heal (for me at least), but after using Neosporin for just a few days, I saw the difference. It softened the scab and facilitated the healing process. Consequently, it allowed me to let it do the work instead of having me become frustrated at the slow healing process (and hence me picking at it, hoping that the scab was ready to come off!). Scarring, then, was minimized.
It is also very easy to apply. just squeeze an appropriate amount onto the affected area. I used a liberal amount to ensure full coverage and "longevity" on the skin. A good plus about Neosporin is that if you get the abrasion on an area prone to acne, it will NOT clog up pores - it didn't for me.
This product is for everyone. I don't remember the exact price, but I know it was not expensive. I also heard from many acne sufferers that when applied to the red spots of what was a pimple, the spots will diminish.
