I purchased this unit about a month ago as a backup and it would not log in to the Internet. It would synchronize with the ADSL2+ and the Ethernet Router worked, but no Internet. I checked with my ISP and even paid them for a service call. I asked them if they have a combination unit available and they supplied one, a BEC Technologies 7200 Series, which works flawlessly. I had a case opened at NETGEAR and the best they could do was to give me the stock instructions from their web site.

Later, I called Technical Support and we went through the same items as listed on the web site, with a few different variations and still, no Internet. The Representative said that I would have to call my ISP and have them do a "Line Check". Well, a Line Check had been performed a week before with no problems found. Another line check revealed no issues. I'm convinced that the Customer Service Representative knows little more than I. There is little-to-no help at the Customer Service office.
This unit is advertized as a "Plug-And-Play" installation. Well, it is now in my junk box as a NON-OP surplus item.
Don't waste your time and money on this unit!
