| kparsons13's Full Review: Neutrogena Acne Wash Cream Cleanser |
I have normally had pretty good skin throughout most of my life. However, when it gets close to that time of the month, I always seem to break out and then a week and a half later, my skin is okay again. Well I kind of got fed up with the one and half weeks that I had red, blotchy and pimply skin. I may not leave the house all that much but I still have to look in the mirror at myself. So I asked my fiancé to pick up the Neutrogenas Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser at Target with some other beauty products. He told me that I should just go with him the next day and I did. I was running out of everything that I had so I decided to go along for the trip and venture outside once more. I have been slowly edging out into the world again carefully and slowly. One step at a time but it is at least a step in the right direction and not a step back.
When we returned from Target I was ready to use the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser since once again I was breaking out. I hadnt used it in about a month since I had run out but I knew that it always seemed to do the trick. It felt wonderful to have it again and my skin hadnt felt so clean in such a long time. It was awesome.

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser Tube
Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser comes in a tube of 6.7 fl oz (200 ml) The colors remind me of a sunset as the top of the tube is a light white as you get to the dispenser is in a bright orange. The Tube is about seven inches long and about two and half inches wide. It has a very smooth and slick surface and when it sits in your hand it forms to your grip immediately, but should your hands be wet, you may just drop it.

The History behind Neutrogena
It was Mr. Emanuel Stolaroff who founded the Neutrogena Corporation that was originally established as a cosmetics company called Natone in the 1930. Sometime during the mid 1950s Mr. Stolaroff had come across a soap created by a man named Edmond Fromont which is the same soap that is known as Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar. In 1962 Neutrogena and Natone merged into Neutrogena Corporation and has slowly become credible throughout the medical profession of dermatology.
In the Magazine In Style the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash was chosen as the Facial Cleanser for Oily Skin in their annual awards in the March 2003 Issue. It is the contributions of stylists, manicurists, dermatologists, make up artists, and aestheticians. There were four other Neutrogena products that were also recognized as well.

My thoughts on Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser is an excellent cleanser for getting rid of and controlling acne. It comes out as a thick, white cream that you only need a small amount to lather with so it does last a long time. All you need to do is rub it over your face in your t-zone and then the cheeks and chine. It wont lather like a soap but it does foam up on your skin a bit. You can feel that it is doing its work with a tingling sensation. It doesnt burn my skin, as I have had problems with other acne cleansers in the past. I have sensitive skin.
However, it does dry up my skin between my nose and cheekbone so I do follow up with a moisturizer, Suave Skin Therapy Moisture Lotion. It helps control my skin, even though it is oily, not to peel. I feel that the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser does get deep into my pores, such as the pores on my nose that I was only able to get with the Biore Strips which can get expensive after a while. I recommend this product to others that suffer from some acne and may have oily skin such as mine. The product lasts a long time so you are getting your bang for your buck at $4.49 a tube (at Target). It is not a harsh chemical even though it does have alcohol in its ingredients and it isnt abrasive either like other scrubs, such as St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I believe that it will do you justice.
Once again, Neutrogena has come out with a product that Dermatologists recommend and that does the job completely.
Until next time,
K Parsons

NEUTROGENA IS A CRUELTY FREE COMPANY BUT THERE PARENT COMPANY, JOHNSON AND JOHNSON IS NOT.
P.s. I will always include a link to this story that I feel every consumer should read whether they believe in it or not, just to make you more aware on products that are tested on animals, even if they are miracle cures for your skin. You should always have all the facts.
I am including a link to a piece I did on companies that use animals to test their products and this company was included on that list:
Please Read This Piece as it will be an Eye Opening Experience for You!
