I didnt start using a moisturizer until recently (about a year ago). I figured that with all the oil on my greasy face, my facial skin would not need any more help. Then Id skimmed some books about skin care and was surprised to read that even oily skin needed to moisturized. Who wudda thunkit? I tried various products, such as Aveeno Radiant Skin Daily Moisturizer, but none to my complete satisfaction.
Then, along came Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture with SPF 15.
Pricing, Packaging, and Presentation
Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture SPF 15 is readily available in most major drugstores and general merchandise stores and the price ranges from $12 14.00. The 2.25 oz moisturizer is packaged in a matte white jar with a light blue screw top. The jar is identical to the jar that contains Neutrogena Light Night Cream. Inside the jar is a white day moisturizer that is of similar to a heavy whipping cream, much like that of the Neutrogena Light Night Cream. The day moisturizer has a faint chemical mixture scent but after it is applied to the face, the scent is not noticeable.

My Experience
It was important for me to find a suitable moisturizer for my face for the sake of healthy looking skin. Neutrogena has been a product line that Ive used for years and have been pleased with the results. I switched day moisturizer from Aveeno Radiant Skin Daily Moisturizer to Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture because I just wasnt satisfied with Aveeno. Though $12 14 for 2.25 oz may seem expensive, Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture is actually quite a bargain because the jar will least for several months.
Using Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture (IDM) has proven to be a fantastic change. First off, the simplicity of the jar is a welcomed change from the pump dispensing moisturizers. I can control how much I put on my fingertips to dab onto my face without worry that a clogged pump will shoot out too much moisturizer. I apply small dabs to my cheeks, chin, forehead, and nose (just a very small bit). I smooth the moisturizer in while avoiding the eyes (per the directions), making sure that my face is covered. The moisturizer goes on my skin smoothly and absorbs very quickly. My skin doesnt feel weighed down by a feeling of a heavy moisturizer. I can feel a very slight feeling of moisturizer on my face, but that is tolerable. Though there is that faint smell of mixed chemicals, it goes away quickly after rubbing the moisturizer into my skin. Since the moisturizer contains SPF 15, my face is safe for every day exposure to the sun (which I keep to a minimal, despite living in CA! Ha!). IDM is also oil-free, which is a definite plus for my oily skin. I dont need to be applying any more oil to this face! After smoothing in the moisturizer, I apply a layer of MAC foundation on top to help even out my skin tone. The moisturizer has no adverse reactions when coupled with the foundation, but it is important to make sure that the moisturizer is completely absorbed before applying the powder foundation.
My face has done well with Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture. There has not been an increase in breakouts from using the product nor has my skin broken out into some terrible rash. After daily use of this product, in combination with Neutrogena Light Night Cream, I have noticed an increased softness and smoothness in my skin. And thanks to the SPF 15, my skin is being protected from harmful UV rays.
Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture will help your skin feel softer and smoother while it protects it from the harmful rays of the sun.
