I love lip balms! Kiss My Face Certified Organic Lip Balm, Burt's Beeswax Lip Balm, Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer … are a few lip balms in my healthy arsenal that I keep in my purse, backpack, and desk in case of a dry lip emergency!
The Product
Neutrogena Lip Nutrition Mango Moisture Balm is packaged in a clear plastic circular container with a twist off lid (which is also clear, with the exception of the Neutrogena name written across the lid). The container holds 5.2 grams (0.18 oz) of the peach colored lip balm. The balm itself smells like fresh mangos. The scent is not overpowering; it is subtle yet noticeable. Neutrogena Lip Nutrition is available where other Neutrogena products are sold; I actually purchased mine at Nordstroms Rack (of all places!) because it was $5.97 instead of the $7.49 at Target.

My Experience
I am very choosy when it comes to lip balms. I do not like the waxy “I-just-rubbed-candles-on-my-lips” feel nor do I enjoy the weighed down feel on my lips. Neutrogena Lip Nutrition Mango Moisture Balm is neither of these.
Neutrogena Lip Nutrition Mango Moisture Balm is a soft lip balm that applies easily with a swipe of a finger. It does not feel heavy or waxy on the lips and has a wonderful mango scent. The balm glides on smoothly and leaves a glossy look on the lips. I use the balm primarily before I sleep and before I go off to work. I have found that since using Neutrogena Lip Nutrition Mango Moisture Balm, my lips are soft and healthy. I have not had any chapped or cracked lips. My lips look soft, smooth, and moisturized – no dried lip look! The mango scent is just right; it’s not so strong that you feel as though you have mango bits on your lips, but it’s strong enough so that you experience the nice scent of mangos. One con regarding this product is that it is packaged in a pot, leaving balm on your fingertips when you apply it. The only other con regarding this product is that it does not have SPF protection, which is why I use it primarily at night.
