I have always had skin that has been prone to breakouts. I am 24 now and as long as I can remember I have always had blemishes. I have seen dermatologists on 2 occasions, and each time was prescribed an oral antibiotic that temporarily helped with the acne, but it always came back. I had a tendency to break out in my t-zone, especially around my nose and chin.
I had tried so many at home remedies and spent hundreds of dollars on products that did nothing to help the condition of my skin. I found e-pinions and decided to try “On the Spot” after reading so many positive reviews of the product. The thought was that, if it didn’t work, I was only out $5.
The tube is very small however you use very little product and it should last a long time. The directions instruct you to cover the affected area once a day initially and then 2-3 times a day afterward. I have found that once in the morning and once before bed is sufficient for me. The product goes on smoothly and leaves very little residue on your skin. The one thing that I really like about “On the Spot” is the ability to wear it under make-up. This is a huge plus and you can reapply through out the day if necessary. “On the Spot” is very mild, however when you put it on you can “feel” it working. It is does not burn but you do feel a little tingle.
After using the product for only 3 weeks, I have noticed an INCREDIBLE difference in my skin. My skin never felt dry or looked flaky. I will still occasionally feel that a pimple is ready to break through however, I have found that saturating the areas where I tend to break out, help to prevent this. When I do feel that one is going to come, I cover the area that is tender and in the morning, it is visibly better. While this product will not prevent all future breakouts, the difference is huge. My skin feels softer and it seems to help with the red spots that occur after a breakout.
