Pros: Inexpenisive sunless tanning product that did not result in an orange color or streaks.
Cons: Hard to deepen with reapplications.
The Bottom Line: All and all, I felt this was a decent sunless tanning product considering it was one of the more inexpensive ones.

Get a healthy looking glow with this safe alternative to tanning. This light non-sticky foam glides on smoothly to apply easily and evenly. Absorbs quickly and dries in less than 5 minutes. Patented foam formula provides a completely natural-looking tan that looks like a real tan and fades like a real tan not orange, no streaky.
The following is how the claims measure up to my own experience:
Get a healthy looking glow with this safe alternative to tanning.
I just recently moves to Florida, which is quite a difference, considering, I moved form Ohio. In Ohio, I used to do the whole fake n bake routine when I would be showing skin, which was not a majority of the year, but now in Florida, it is. As great as it s to look tan, skin cancer and premature skin aging, are both risks down the road. I dont want to have regrets later in life. Thu I headed off to Wal-Mart to give sunless tanning products a look. After sizing them all up, I decided on the Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Foam.
This light non-sticky foam glides on smoothly to apply easily and evenly Absorbs quickly and dries in less than 5 minutes. Patented foam formula provides a completely natural-looking tan that looks like a real tan and fades like a real tan not orange, no streaky.
Before making my first application, I took a bath and gently exfoliated. I was then ready for application. The directions read as follows:
1-Pump foam into hand and blend in a circular motion over freshly cleansed skin.
2-A little foam goes a long way so you only need one pump for each arm and two pumps for each leg.
3-Apply sparingly around knees, elbows and ankles.
4-Wash hands with soap and water immediately after use.
5-Avoid contact with clothing until dry.
6-Sunless tan begins to develop in two to four hours and lasts for days.
7-Wait an hour before bathing or swimming.
8-Reapply to maintain or deepen color.
The directions were right in stating that a little foam goes a long way. I found the foam to be especially nice for applying around the knees, ankles, and elbows. I didnt really take that much care in those areas and they did not end up darker than the rest of my body, which is what often times happens. The foam dries quickly, which is nice so you dont have to sit around forever in your underwear because you do not want to get it on your clothes. My tan did develop in about two hours. However, after 24 hours, I decided I wanted it deeper, so I made another application. It did deepen my color. I decided to try and deepen it more, but it didnt seem my skin got any darker. I was also pleased that the color never came out orange or streaky.
The foam is also noncomedogenic (wont clog pores) which is great because I have sensitive skin. It also meant I didnt have to buy a separate bottle just to use on my face.
However, the bottle does come with a warning, which read as follows:
WARNING. Avoid contact with eyes. This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.
This is all common sense, if you ask me, but the warning is there.
The following is all of the ingredients as listed on the package:
Water, Dihydroxyacetone, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, Methyl Gluceth-20, PPG-5 Ceteth-20, Erythruluse, Decyl Polyglucose, Methylpropanediol, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Citrate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Citric Acid, Fragrance.
I hope this review was helpful. All and all, I felt this was a decent sunless tanning product considering it was one of the more inexpensive ones. My greatest fear were coming out orange or streaky and neither were issues.
