Pros: easy to apply, great results for the price, semi-long lasting, great for sensitive skin
Cons: smells like dry cat food, some minor streaking
The Bottom Line: Though not without its problems (admittedly minor), Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Spray is amongst the best on the market.

Having feared that I would get a call from Frank Perdue due to my gastly white legs and thighs, I decided to try Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Spray in an attempt to rid myself of my Casper-the-friendly-ghost exterior.
Admittedly, I was a bit hesitant to use the product as I had tried several sunless-tanners in the past and each time was left looking the epitome of the Oompa Doompa's from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. My skin was tangerine orange and I looked as though I was exiled from some African tribal council.
However, willing to sacrifice weeks of embarrassment for beauty, I relented and started to spray away. After the solution dried, I laid down and fell asleep; anticipating the horrors that would greet me the next morning.
Surprisingly though, I woke to find that I had what seemed to resemble a tan on my arms and legs. Hurrah!
As my elation began to subside, I noticed that in some spots on my legs, there seemed to be minor streaking. Around my heels, there were little Oompa Doompaisms, but I believe this to be my fault as I had not carefully wiped away the excess solution the night before.
Nearly a week later, my tan is still present, though fading fast. As I type this, I am waiting the one hour before bathing which is instructed on the bottle. Apparently, color will appear in two to four hours. Hurrah!
One other thing that I found really impressive was that it did not bother my ever-so-sensitive skin. I am allergic to many soaps, laundry detergents and skin products, but my allergies were not effected by this sunless tanning miracle.
There are really only two things that I find wrong with this product:
1.) It smells very badly -- quite like Hill's C/D dry cat food.
2.) It does leave minor streaking, quite contrary to the advertisement on the bottle.
Even with its faults, I highly recommend Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Spray. For the price, I do not believe you can buy a better sunless-tanner -- and believe me, I've tried all of them!
