Well, I have been complaining about my new perm for weeks now. It left my hair dry and frizzed out, much to my dismay. This weekend, I went and had about 5 inches lopped off in hopes that it will be more manageable.

I was also on the lookout for a leave-in conditioner to calm the frizzies a little. However, I came across this product, Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-in Cream which I found at Walmart for $4.99.


Ingredients:

This product comes in a cream and brown, 6 fl oz, squeezeable, plastic bottle with a flip-top cap. The product itself is white and creamy and it has a fresh coconutty scent.

My Experience:

I have been at my wits end trying to make my hair look decent lately. I have tried all kinds of deep conditioners and treatments but to no avail. So I chopped most of it off. It is now just at shoulder length and is showing the effects of a bad perm from about the middle downwards.

When I picked this product up, I wasn’t expecting miracles, especially from past experience with similar products. I wasn’t familiar with Neutrogena hair products so I will try anything once.

After washing and conditioning my hair, I squeezed about a dime-size portion of the cream in my palm and rubbed it through my hands spreading it out to the fingertips. I then applied it to my wet hair working from the roots to the tips and evening out the application by combing through it. I noticed immediately by being able to comb through my hair with ease that this product was going to be effective. After easily blow-drying my hair straight, my hair felt soft and silky with not a bit of build-up. It was also super-straight and shiny.

I applied a little extra to my dry hair just to give it a little extra shine. I was very pleased with the results. My hair hadn’t looked this good in weeks and it stayed fresh and silky until the next washing.

I have also left my hair to dry and applied this product to my dry curly hair. It instantly takes away the frizz and defines the curl I have left, without stickiness.


Conclusion:

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream has done wonders for my permed, colored hair. The frizzies practically disappear on contact and styling is made simple. This cream is light and not as heavy as similar applications the scent is great. I also like the fact that it contains UV filters. That helps keep my color fresh too.

I can’t say enough good about this product because it really has no faults. The price is right, the quality is outstanding and it really works, without build-up. My hair ‘s condition has really improved since I have been using it. I would recommend it to anyone with a bad perm or manageability problems.
