In college I needed a shoe that would hold up on my 2-3/week running excursions. I decided on the New Balance 761. I thought they didn't look that visually appealing to me, but as a 13 size foot, most shoes don't look all that cool at that size. Yet, I can sometimes be wrong, and in this case I was. Putting them on, I noticed, with less rungs to put the laces in, it made my foot kind of look normal-sized. You can imagine, I was quite overjoyed, so much that I decided to go for a run- not stretching or anything. While on my FIRST run with the shoes, without stretching mind you, I felt like I wasn't placing my feet on the ground. I was flying! No I wasn't flying, but it sure did feel like it. I think this shoe is great for anyone who would like to fly without Southwest or crack.
