These shoes are extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on until the end of the day. Whether I am walking the dogs on asphalt and concrete or hiking along a forest trail, the support and springiness of step stay with me all day. I have worn a pair of this 761 style for three months now and recommend them to anyone who wants both comfort and style. I notice people looking at these shoes when I wear them out in public; the style is catchy and yet not overwhelming. The shoes are light weight and are comfortable with both cotton socks and heavier woolen ones. The cut is very comfortable around mu ankle and across the toe box where I often have discomfort with other brands. One of the best things about New Balance is their sizing allowances. I also have a pair of 741's which are more water resistant, but the 761's are a little more useful for my everyday wear. I recommend them heartily.
