Works great for blisters but BURNS
Written: Jul 14, 2010
Rated a Unrated Review by the Epinions community
Pros:Keeps wound sealed, water and swear proof
Cons:Burns very badly
I'm a serious tennis player and play almost every day. Normally I get blisters on my fingers and just put a band-aid on it. This time though, I had a big, busted blister right in the middle of my palm. A band-aid obviously wouldn't hold so this is where the New-Skin comes in. This stuff worked great in sealing the blister and healing it. After I wrapped my hand in some tape I could play again. However, this stuff burns like no other. I was seriously holding my hand, teeth clenched in pain for at least 30 seconds after applying. Because of this pain the ONLY thing I use it for is when I get a blister on my palm, otherwise I just use a band-aid.
To Summarize, this stuff works great for small wounds but burns so bad that I don't even want to use it.
