As a former hobby beer maker i found this ale to be the best i've ever tasted. It has a nice smooth flaver with no after taste that i can dicern. it seems to have a slight nut taste to it that really ads character. Now it is lightly hopped, and i'm not a hophead so it hits the spot with me. The price seems fair considering the qaulity of the ingredents,i think i pay abot $6 for a six pack. This beer is far better than any sam adams, there way over rated and in my opion over hopped. Now it does have a heavier body so it can be filling , but this beer on draft is a must try.
