Pros: Classic look, 275cc is manageable.
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line: The Nike Driver will be a good change from something tired, but not from a newly purchased Titleist or Cleveland driver.

| aero221's Full Review: Nike Forged Titanium Driver 275cc |
Before going into the bulk of my review, I will highlight what exactly I look for in a driver.
1) A Look that inspires confidence - I love it when I can look down at a club and feel elation with knowing I have a great club in my hand, and looking down upon it is visually pleasing.
2) Workability - The ability to work the ball from left to right or vice versa is a wonderful attribute for any driver, because it keeps you more likely on the fairway.
3) Distance - There's just something special about crushing a drive 300 yards, and it's a huge mental booster to hit a wedge for an approach rather than a 5 iron.
The Nike Driver performs well in all of those aspects. Many people I know feel that the larger the head, the better the performance. This may be true for them, but better handicap golfers (for the most part) prefer a smaller, more manageable head.
I switched from a Taylor Made Titanium and first, tried the switch to the Titleist 975J 9.5 degree driver. I found the look of the club to be nearly the same as the Nike, except for the blue tint in the Nike driver, but I found the Titleist's larger head decreased my feel a bit, so I moved to a more manageable 275cc head in the Nike driver.
After a few shots on the range I knew it was just right.
I took it out on demo the next day to the course and found myself hitting the ball straight, long, and true.
Of all my criteria above, the Nike Driver met all my expectations and I would recommend for a lower handicap player.
