Pros: Design, time easy to read while running
Cons: Stop watch functionality, buttons depress too easily
The Bottom Line: Stick to the guys who make good watches (Timex) and let Nike make your good running shoes.

| pehr's Full Review: Nike Triax Speed 50 Regular WR0082-001 Wrist Watch |
I got this Nike Triax running watch for Christmas this year, and was really excited at first. Nike knows a lot about runners, so they must create the best running watch, I thought. Plus, I like the design a lot, it's sleek, and the slanted screen makes it good for monitoring my progress while running because it's adjusted so that you don't have to tilt your head to see your time.
The more I wear it, however, the less I like it, and I kind of wish that I'd just stuck with my standard IronMan watches from the past. For example, the yellow "View" button that toggles the display between what time it is and when your alarm is set is far too sensitive. This results in it being pressed accidentally and I often look down at my watch and see that it's 12:00 noon (when my alarm is set). Frustrating.
Another thing: I can't, for the life of me, get the watch to show what day it is. And despite my belief that I should always know what day it is, it would be convenient if it told me. Perhaps it's in the 50 page direction manual that came with the watch, but I don't have the patience to go through that.
Finally, the stop watch functionality is not great. After stopping a run, the only way I can tell what button to press to reset the stop watch back to 0:00 is by reading a tiny icon on the watch (about half the size of a small ant) that says "reset."
In summary, don't buy this watch. Stick to the guys who know watches such as Timex and not the guys who know running such as Nike.
