qwyley's Full Review: Nike+iPod (NA0001101) Sports Kit
When I first began running, I was looking for a way to track my progress and this kit was perfect. I already had an iPod, and I already ran while listening to it, so this kit was cheap and easy for me to use. When I first opened up the package, it was simple to figure out how to use and to sync with my iTunes. I created my Nike+ account and wanted to use it right away. I didn't have, and didn't really want to purchase, a special pair of Nike shoes, so I just attached some Velcro to the transmitter and stuck it under my shoe laces. After a run, I just connect my iPod nano to my computer and iTunes automatically detects the latest run and asks to upload the info to the Nike website. The Nike website is well designed and let's you connect to other runners from around the country as well as showing you all of your different runs. The graphics look amazing, and a lot of the information it records is really helpful. It tells you distance, time, average pace, and can show you a graph of distance versus time so you can tell what pace you were running at at different times.
