Purchased at an HEB supermarket for $20 assuming I was getting a cheap throwaway. Got much more--my son and I have been enjoying it for 4 mos now without problems. It is large 1:10 scale, large rubber tires, and quite fast. Rear axel is differential! Controller is digital proportional -- you can go proportionally faster or slower by pushing stick part of the way forward/back/left/right.
Package included charger and 9.6V NiCad Cell pack. Battery charge lasts for about 10 mins of continuous driving, and recharge time is quite long (4 hours or so). Also, included charger doesn't indicate when the charge is complete. I'm shopping around for an extra battery pack, because you really need at least two for an outing.
