Pros: Quick, maneuverable, sturdy, fun to drive, easy for all ages.
Cons: That its no longer made. Dont have much else on that.
The predator, need I say more. Stalks its pray of other non expecting r/c cars walking in front of it, and before you know it, it pounces, blows by them in a flash. I have been a proud owner of the Nikko Predator for around 8 years now I believe. (It's been a long time needless to say) As soon as I got the car I had it out jumping it in our driveway, taking it through sand, gravel, and mud. The car is surprisingly quick. I found this out when I got to college and some buddies and I decided to help out a friend with a campus event that we sponsored r/c racing. The predator dominated in even the most unskilled hands. It's quick, handles extremely well, and can take a beating like you wouldnt believe. Bouncing off curbs, almost getting hit by cars, running into other r/c's and gets right up to do it all over again. My greatest thrill with the car was using its shear speed to take some fun jumps. Biggest drop off I had the car go off was four feet from cement to cement. It was down a flight of stairs. And even halfway through the battery life, It could still clear those stairs like they weren't even there. It cleared the stairs and then some. Had to be close to 3 feet past the bottom step. The car would bounce, you would hear plastic scraping, but the car would quickly get back up on all fours and take off like it wanted to do it again. After 8 years of bashing the car lost one side of its rear spoiler (which I removed and sanded down so that it looks like a sand buggy now) the attena sheath snapped into two (I stole a cocktail straw from my friends house worked just fine), and finally, the achilles heel, I broke the aluminum knuckle hubs arm off the right side. I have been trying to find this part, but am finding great difficulty in doing so. So after all that punishment, three things broke. Two small, very small items broke, and one big one. If you have one of these cars already, I'm sure you can vouch for me that this car can handle a good beating. Do I wish Nikko would bring this item back? YES! But I'm sure they have gotten other good models out since then. Enjoy this car, Hopefully you'll get a chance to do so like I have!
