stephlillie22's Full Review: Nikon COOLPIX L19 Digital Camera
A year ago I was needing a new digital camera for our annual trip to Mexico. Of course, being the holidays, most camera stores were very low on their stock of cameras. I ended up going to Circuit City where they had a huge selection of cameras in every price range! I really wanted a pink Nikon camera, but they were sold out and I didn't have time to wait for them to arrive.
My boyfriend showed me the Nikon Coolpix camera and the price was very affordable (we even got 2 free memory sticks with the purchase). I didn't care for the bulky side of it, but it isn't heavy - just large. The quality of the photos are relatively good, clear, bright. When you want to take a photo without the flash, the picture usually turns our blurry or dark, which is a huge flaw for me.
It's really nice that the camera came with a wrist strap, manuals, small box and even a usb connector cable so the images can be loaded very quickly. I have found that this camera eats battery life very, very fast. I have to change my batteries almost every couple hours if I'm taking a lot of photos with the camera.
My camera is black, it was affordable and lightweight, but I don't know if I would recommend this product because of the battery life & the amount of blur in a lot of photos. Maybe I'm just a bad photographer, but I think I'd rather invest my money in a nicer quality camera.
