If you are looking for a cheap, 6MP camera, then this one is for you. It does a great job of taking pictures of static objects, like buildings, landscapes etc. It does not do that good a job if you want to take pictures of your kids.

I purchased this camera right before a vacation trip with my family. As I did not take a laptop with me, I was unable to review the quality of the photographs. After coming home, and downloading them to my computer, was I able to properly review the snaps. I noticed that the snaps of the skyscrapers and mountains (landscape) came out extremely sharp and nice. The edges of the buildings and the details stood out. Of the 50-60 landscape photographs I took, I would say that almost all except for a couple came out well.
The photographs in low light and flash-supported conditions were average at the most. The subject was either in the dark, or blurry. In addition the red-eye reducer takes a little getting used to. Of the 70-80 photographs in these conditions, I would say that only about 40-50 photographs were good.
My main complaint with the camera is the amount of time it takes to save the photograph. While my previous Canon camera took a few seconds (max 2), this one would take what seemed like an astronomically large amount of time. When I timed one shot, it took about 7-8 seconds to save the photograph! While the camera did not take that much time under ideal conditions (bright, sunny conditions), it did that much time when the flash was used. Not a good camera to have if you have kids who keep moving around.
From a size perspective, this is perfect. It is not too big where you feel like you are lugging around a large object (specially useful when one is walking around) and nor is it too small, where it becomes a little cumbersome to use.
The camera also eats up batteries. I ended up replacing my 2 AA batteries every day, after taking about 50-60 pictures.
For those of you interested in the settings I used for my "test", I used the default factory settings with the only exception being the quality of pictures. I set that to "high".
