Really nice review here! (Reply to this comment)

I'm seriously considering this camera, and like you this would be my first DSLR.
Thanks for the excellent info - I think this is the camera I've been looking for :)

No policies broken - I was just suggesting some additional ideas for your review and I must say you have incorporated them nicely. You're review stands on its own now and someone researching this camera will learn a lot about the camera itself and your experiences with it.

Ok I've updated it. If I've deviated from the epinions policy I don't mean to I'm just being honest. There's absolutely no negativity I feel toward my investment and I'm usually very skeptical with my purchases. I just wanted the people to benefit from the countless hours (I probably spent two months researching DSLRs) of research I spent that led to the D50. If I endorse it, then I think it's safe to say that it's a good buy.

Your review really doesn't talk about the particulars of this camera at all. How are your experiences with the camera, what features have you learned to use, how is its speed, exposure, resolution? Consumers use our reviews to compare products, so a review should have enough detail to help a consumer compare this camera to another.
If you decide to update, feel free to email me and I'd be happy to take another look.
