johnbamber's Full Review: Nikon N65 35mm Film Camera
I bought this about a year ago, and have taken almost a thousand pictures with this camera. Of that I think 3 didn't come out the way I expected. When you buy the camera you'll most likely be asked to upgrade (for like $20 or something) the lens to the Nikkor lens (it doesn't come with it by default) - definitely do so. The optics are fantastic. There are multiple modes for taking pictures, you can have it on fully automatic or you can choose the shutter speed and it does the rest, or you can choose the aperture and it does the rest, or you can have it on fully manual, although it can feel a tad cumbersome getting the settings right. There's a handy preview button on the front of the camera so you can check your aperture settings before taking the picture, so you can avoid wasting film. There's even a little film window so you can see what film is loaded into your camera, so you avoid inadvertantly opening the back to see if there was film in there and thus losing everything.
I guess my only problem right now is running out of space to put my pictures that I get developed :-)
I love this camera, and highly reccommend it to anyone in the market for a great all-round camera.
