elmoebeesn's Full Review: Nikon N65 35mm Film Camera
I recently had the chance to try this new camera from Nikon before it had been released to the public. It seems as if Nikon is coming out with something for everyone these days and this camera further extends their increasing popularity and diversity. I was very happy with the results of my trial and I feel that this camera ranks up there with the other fine models that this company has produced recently.
This is expected to not be an overly expensive model and I can tell you that I feel it will be in high demand if it is not already. The camera is extremely light and easy to use first of all, with all major functions fairly well explained and laid out in the users manual. The camera includes many features such as auto bracketing, depth of field preview and 3D auto focus. It also has an adjustment for those individuals who may have a problem with eyesight. This camera will focus in a manner so that all users will be able to make out exactly what type of picture they are about to shoot. The camera also boasts multiple exposure capability and great image sharpening controls. Beginning photographers will find this unit to be easily portable and also very practical and will be impressed with the image quality that results. Also, many of these features can usually only be found with more expensive models, so users will delight in the value they receive.
The looks of the camera are simple but nice as it is mostly black with a touch of grey. Furthermore, all controls of the camera are manual and there are five variety programs that the user can choose between with this model. These include landscape, close-up, nightscape, sport and portrait. These features will help to tailor the setting to the one in which the user is currently working. Of course, as with most advanced models such as this, there is a red eye reduction capability and as far as I have seen, red-eye is minimized with this model. The camera also boasts a 3D matrix meter for the users convenience which I have found to work well.
I shot quite a few images in the daylight hours with this model and I found that it was convenient, light, had an abundance of features and was very easy to use. The resulting images were very nice and looked just how I had hope them to turn out. All in all, I would recommend this model to amateur but serious photographers who are looking for a quality product but are not willing to spend a fortune.
