There is a virtual console where via wii points, which you can purchase on the wii shop channel or at your local retailer, you can download various classic games from past consoles (i.e. nes, snes, sega genesis, and others.)
The graphics on the wii are what you would expect out of a PS2, but for nearly $200 less then the competition what can you expect. In short this is a great system for the money and for all ages. And it won't hurt you where it counts most, that is if you are lucky enough to find one. The best part of all, especially for parents, is no more couch potato kids. This system gets them off the couch and gives them a work out.
