I think it's worth it, as long as you take it for face value. There's a diet part to being fit that it doesn't take account for. But as a fun way to workout, it's a good game. But like I said, in no way does it replace going to the gym, but I don't think people expect it to.
If you can find it, go for it. I enjoy it and will probably play with it at least once or twice a week.

We've been on the fence about getting this. I kind of want it but don't. I'm sure it would tell me I am a Fat @ss too LOL!

I don't disagree with the fact that people can enjoy it. I just don't think it's fun enough for the kids.
Also, it's going to be more of a secondary workout tool for me. I'm still going to the gym first and foremost.
But that's awesome that you guys are using it. I bet you get the most out of it by using it everyday.

My wife and I love Wii Fit and use it every day because it's fun to compete. I think this was a test to see how the market would react to the board - like Wii Sports trained us how to use the Wii-Motes. They'll be releasing many more games that involve the balance board soon enough.
