I never even heard of this product until I was visiting someone's beauty section in their personal website. They said that this lotion made their skin look gorgeous under any light, so I decided to try it.
The Product

Nivea's Silky Shimmer Lotion comes in a silver, pearly white plastic bottle & has a flip cap. When you pour the lotion into your hands, the lotion is gold in color & you can see the tiny shimmering particles (you can't feel them). The lotion isn't very thick, it's just right. It CAN be a bit runny, though.
My Thoughts
I didn't really want to use this product because right before it, I used another lotion on my upper arms and it broke me out. So I was a bit scared.. Anyways, I have a few very light stretch marks on the top of my breasts, and one day I was thinking about wearing this scoop neck top, which revealed quite a lot. But I didn't want anyone to see the damn stretch marks, even though they're light. I grabbed some of Nivea's Silky Shimmer Lotion and slathered it on my chest, put on the top, and HONESTLY, I couldn't see the stretch marks. They were damn near invisible.. I was SHOCKED! I put some of Nivea's Silky Shimmer Lotion on my arms as well, and they just glow. It's never sticky nor does it stink. It does have a smell to it though, typical Nivea smell. It's not offensive but I could do without it. It lingers for a while, too. It's probably different for everyone. The moisturizing qualities of Nivea's Silky Shimmer Lotion is okay. I wouldn't recommend it for very dry skin though because I think the shimmer would gather on the dry patches and emphasize them more.
Also, this product gets on your clothes pretty easy, and leaves a golden shimmer on it. It washes off of course, but you should wash your hands after applying the lotion because the shimmer definitely lasts and will rub off on everything you touch. The gold shimmer builds as you apply more, also.
Bottom Line
I would definitely buy this product again, but I think it carries a heavy price tag. It lasts forever too.
