Forget Head & Shoulders, Nizoral is what you need!!! I have tried many dandruff shampoos over the years and i've had little success. in fact, some made the problem worse. however, never fear, Nizoral is here!!!
First & foremost, Nizoral actually works! it may not necessarily solve the problem for everyone, but there will be a definite improvement. it is available in a 1% and a 2% ketaconazole formula (ketaconazole is the active ingredient that is scientifically proven to reduce dandruff & thats not all)!
Nizoral shampoo is also unique because it's effect is long lasting. even after rinsing, nizoral carries on working for several days. this means that you don't need to use nizoral every day making it extremely cost-effective. And unlike some other anti-dandruff treatments, nizoral shampoo has a pleasant fragrance and is ph balanced leaving hair soft, healthy and clean.
This shampoo contains a broad-spectrum antifungal, which inhibits the growth of yeast and other fungal infections providing relief from dandruff. Nizoral shampoo is often prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections of the scalp and sebbhoreic dermatitis, however as it has anti-androgenic properties it is used by some individuals in combination with other treatments in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.
Although this product is marketed as an anti-dandruff shampoo, it has actually been shown in scientific trials to help slow down male patten baldness, particularly when used in conjunction with Minoxidil 5% (ie. Roganie, Kirkland) & Finasteride (ie. Propecia, Proscar).
Infact, i think Nizoral is a necessary part of any hair loss treatment regimen. On it's own, it will not do much, but it has been proven in clinical studies to increase hair count, and comes as a shampoo which can conveniently be rotated with other shampoo's at a very low cost.
