| sheepsheep's Full Review: Nizoral Anti Dandruff Shampoo |
I've been battling dandruff since college years.
I tried a lot of anti-dandruff shampoos and they all failed. From known to the not so popular ones.
My dandruff worsened last year were I have huge flakes, and build up is almost everytime I wash my head to the point I started developing wounds on my scalp due to the itching and scratching. They were very painful and i had to be very careful combing my hair not to hit the soft red spots on my head.
I tried a lot of anti-dandruff shampoos - From Guard, Selsun blue, Head and Shoulders, Neutrogena T/Gel, Neutrogena T/Sal ... and all other products not too popular and they either worsened my case, or they don't really work.
I got a checkup from the dermatologist and they prescribed Nizoral Shampoo.
I've been seeing Nizoral around but never wanted to try it since I know strong medicated shampoos stiffen the hell out of anyone's hair. Plus I got traumatized after using the strong Neutrogena T/Sal that I didn't want to try another medicated shampoo.
Well, I got a bottle of it with conditioner. Tried it and I'm impressed.
I lost up to 98% of flakes. No itch. I felt my build up spot and it has thinned out.
My hair? It felt clean. My hair didn't became too stiff as I thought. I followed with conditioner and my scalp was fine with it.
I tested Nizoral by not washing my hair for 2 days -
and still NO build-up!
It's costly - but it works. So I'm fine with the price. Being able to see myself as actually dandruff free in a week who cares the price.
