| alexandrah's Full Review: Nokia 252 Cell Phone |
The Nokia 252 was my first cell phone given to me by my mother as a Christmas present. I was ecstatic to have my own phone and didn't realize that at the time that this would be the best phone I had ever owned until later.
I owned that Nokia for four months before I changed cell phone services and my new cell phone provider provided me with an offer that I couldn't pass up. They said that I could have any phone under a certain price for free since I switched services. So, I took them up on it and got a Star TAC phone. I was excited about it, until I had it for about one week. It felt very flimsy and it was a pain to open up every time I got a call. I really missed my Nokia. About one month after I got that new phone, it was stolen, and low and behold I went straight back to my provider and told them to give me back my Nokia 252. They did, with a little arguing and again I was happy.
The talk time on this phone is great. I charge it at night and it allows me to use it the whole next day for the amount of time I'm on the phone. I get my calls and I love the different little songs that you can change the ringing to. The phone book is very useful. You are able to look up phone numbers with just your friend's name. I love it! It is very rare that I get any static, unless I'm a ways from home and am out of my range. It has been nothing but a pleasure to own such a nice convenient phone.
Anyone who is looking to purchase a cell phone, I strongly recommend that you start with a Nokia 252 at least. If you can afford it, get a higher version of Nokia, but never stray away from that.
