Well here it goes. My first cell phone purchase and I chose the Nokia 252 cell phone. This little phone has been a blessing for me, with the exception of the monthly bill that it comes with. Price: $60w/plan
THE FACTS:
The 252 is a relatively small phone. It is rather light and compact. The screen is easily readable and lights up bright if you need it to at night. The 252 comes with a black gloss face plate that looks great. Don't worry though, if you don't like the color nokia makes faceplates that you can interchange with the phone for $20. The battery lasts all day if fully charged. I talk on mine at least 100 mins. a day so you know the battery is capable for lasting days on end for normal use.
FEATURES:
The 252 has a simple layout. It comes with a menu button that will bring you into a phone book, call log, phone settings, call settings, messages, and you can lock the phone up. I have caller id and call waiting on my phone. These have come in handy and I would never have a phone that didn't have these features. The call log is great. If you miss a call you can check to see who exactly called you. This feature is great if you are at work and leave your phone in the car. Another good feature is the ringing options. You have a choice of 6 different ringing tones. These are great, but what about when I'm in school (I'm a college student)? It has a silent ringing option so you can still get calls without disturbing the class. The 252 is rather clear as well. I have had no problems receiving calls and getting them in clearly. I love it.
CONCLUSION:
This phone is compact, has all the functions a normal person would need, looks great, and is economical at just $60. I would recommend this phone to anyone on a budget that is looking for a cell phone that is reliable and durable.
