| gdavides's Full Review: Nokia 5120 Cell Phone |
I initially got this phone when my first phone, also a Nokia (but analog) stopped being able to make any connections. I realized that I needed a digital phone, and a year ago, when this phone cost one hundred dollars, this was a pretty good deal. It is even a better deal now that you can get it rather inexpensively. There are some places where you can even get the phone free just for signing up for their service.
In the one year that I have had it, I have almost never had any problem connecting, I've had great clarity even in some more remote places, and the battery has been strong enough to keep going even through those long-winded conversations I sometimes have. It's still important to get the car recharger, though, just in case.
The phone has a great timing system, so if you are on a heavily restricted call plan, you have a pretty good idea how much you have talked, and how much more you can talk during the month. I recommend this phone to anyone who wants an affordable digital phone. It is not a digital multinetwork phone, though, which some plans require.
