| Snoreman7's Full Review: Nokia 5120 Cell Phone |
I have been waiting for a phone like this for a long time. My first mobile phone was a "bag phone" that was anything but mobile. The 5120 fits in my shirt pocket, but I still know that it is there. You can take it anywhere without looking like you just stole someone's purse.
The 5120 also has many features. I have owned two of these phones for just over a year now and still have not used them all. You can build your own library of people that you call frequently, up to 99 numbers. I don't think I know 99 people. Anyway, when programming the numbers you can insert pauses and special symbols (# or *) for calling those automated lines. There are three games which kind of get old after a while. So, opting for a more expensive 5000 or 6000 series phones that have a larger library or more games is a waste of time for us.
Other features on the phone include password protection, 8 day stand by time on battery, 4 day standby with moderate use), easy to read display, user friendly menu, and others too numerous to mention. Overall, it is a great value for digital quality sound .
On the down side, if you use the phone in the car a lot I would recommend the headset car kit. The phone is small and trying to hold it hands free with your neck can be difficult.
