Pros: Many more functions, longer battery charge hold, various colors, etc.

| Anemone905's Full Review: Nokia 5120 Cell Phone |
I really don't have a lot of need for a cellular phone. I still live at home, don't travel all that much, but it feels safe to have one. I stopped by a local cellular phone dealer, and inquired about a phone. Needless to say, I left with one.
I originally had the Nokia 918, an analog phone. It suited it's purpose, however it lacked things which I "wanted" (not necessarily "needed"). So I decided to see what I could do about it.
I asked about the Nokia 5120 and it's options, and before I knew it, I was having my account transferred to a new Nokia 5120 (with the blue cover...) I loved it at first, it had everything I wanted; caller ID, it stated the time, it stated who I missed calls from, and I received more minutes a month for less money. However, after using it for a while, I was informed, by almost everyone that I called, that I received very poor reception. I took my phone in to be checked out, and was informed that the 5120, a more high-tech model, receives poor reception overall, and that there was nothing wrong with my phone. I live in a rather large metropolitan area of Wisconsin, so I was disappointed, and happy at the same time. It is a nice phone, with nice features, but I guess when having a cellular phone, reception is the number one factor for me.
