| .Sandokan.'s Full Review: Nokia 5160 Cell Phone |
I really like Nokia products. I have always sought them out ever since I started cellular service years ago. Here is my problem. I feel they have become so successful, they have become sloppy with quality products. I recently upgraded to the 5160 and I noticed several problems with it. First, it was cheaply made. The batteries don't fit in all the way, so the slide back and forth when installed, the display is crooked, and it has too much junk on it.
I really don't need games or 30+ ringing features. Sure, they're nice additional candy, but I would rather have more useful functions or a better built chassis. It has many functions that are very handy. I probably use about 30 percent of them though. I like the weight and how it fits in my hand. I don't get the feeling I'm going to break it while I'm using it. It's big enough where it's difficult to misplace it. I'm afraid that smaller models will be eaten by my couch or car seats.
It does have a myriad of accessories which is nice. I personally use the holster and ear-piece which are the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I do recommend the product, but also forward a suggestion to Nokia, please tighten your ship. Your products are slipping.
