| NetGuy87's Full Review: Nokia 5160 Cell Phone |
I can not lie. I bought this phone for its looks. Who can resist Gecko Green? You pass the shops in the mall and they have a red one, and they have a blue one... They even have a green one! They have just about every sports team and every design imaginable on a phone cover. Yes, it is a fact that the new Nokia 5160 is very attractive. They have lighting clear batteries, antennas that light up when the phone rings. They even have colored keypads! The sporty, lightweight, Nokia 5160 is truly America's cellular phone. Everywhere you go you see one on a belt clip or in a leather carrier. These phones are not getting enough credit for their performance. A lot of people love them, but others who go towards analog phones or phones made by other companies are just dying for reasons to say that the Nokia 5160 is a bad product. The fact it, it is a smart little phone. It holds up to 100 names and numbers in memory. It has games, and many other features. It has many different regular rings as well as musical rings too. You can control how loud every little thing is. It can receive Voice messages as well as Text messages. It has many security settings as well as the KeyGuard TM which allows the phone to be in a purse without being bothered by things accidentally pressing the keypad. Yet, it still can ring. This is truly an excellent phone, but maybe it's not for you. The 6160 series also features all the pop and jazz covers and accessories and also features things such as a calendar and different profiles which you can set such as "Inside" or "Ion Meeting". The only different thing about this phone is that the 6160 covers screw on from under the battery. The 5160 covers pop on and off. You can use a coin to easily change phone covers with the 5160. Well, have fun and good luck on finding your right phone!
