| Dosite1's Full Review: Nokia 5160 Cell Phone |
We just got our second Nokia. It was important to us that our first one was small and rugged, but a deciding factor for us was the clarity of the signal. Nokia makes this easy for a two cell phone family by allowing us to choose different colored face plates and rings for each phone. This is big when we're together because we can readily identify our phones.
The features like caller I D (useful), and games (useless), are nice but it is the quality of the small, light, design, and the clarity of the signal that make this our cell phone of choice. OK, I do play the games occasionally if I'm stuck at a RR crossing, but they really aren't that great though it is a good idea. The phone itself though is wonderful. I have set mine up to call my voice mail at one button punch, I have picked my own ring, and selected my own color, as well as other customizations. I like the belt clip, my wife does not. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, it seems like it never needs charging. I think I may have gone a week in standby. The Nokia 5160 has been a great phone times two.
