There are so many cell phones that are out on the market today, and that can make it difficult in choosing the one that is right for you. I think one of the best phones that are out there right now is the Nokia 5160 series phone. I have had this phone for a year and a half and i never leave home without it.
A big reason I love this phone is because of the features. The Nokia 5160 has features that include: a light up keypad and face, 100 memory name and number storage bank, one touch dialing, emergency key 9, silent, quiet or loud ring, voice message and text message capabilities, a clock, an alarm clock, games, security settings call log, and 30 different tones to chose from.
I absolutely hate to read manuals. With this phone, I felt as if I didn't have to read the manual for most of the functions I needed to know. Of course, there were some detailed functions I needed to clarify and the manual did clear that up for me.
Convenience is a big deal with me. This phone was pretty lightweight and small enough that i could easily fit it in my pocket or in an small purse. The belt clip (one of many accessories) easily snaps on to attach to the belt, pants, or to the strap of a purse or backpack.
Now, my favorite...accessories! This phone comes with more accessories than you can imagine. There are quite a few Xpress-on covers that come in solid basic colors, chrome, neon, and clear colors. Designs and your favorite sports team are also available. Along with face plates comes batteries, and several different chargers (from travel to desktop to cigarette chargers). A hands-free headset can also be purchased. This easily clips to your shirt, while an ear piece goes into your ear, and you speak into the microphone that is located on the wire. Last but not least, there are a variety of cases that can be purchased as well.
The most important thing to consider when buying a phone is to decide what features and functions you are looking for on a phone. Along with the phone purchase, you have to consider which phone company to establish service with. Consider the plans that they are offering as well. Right now I believe this phone is being used with a variety of companies such as AT&T, BellSouth, Verizon and Voice Stream. In addition, this phone is very affordable these days. You may even be able to get it as low as $79.99!
