You provide some great feedback and I appreciate your input. In the ever changing world of electronics such is the case. You are correct that Verizon provides great service!
At the time, for our need these phones were a great bargain and provided what we wanted. Simplistic, yet functional.

However, I would challenge you on the aestetics of this ancient beast (it's been around for years in other forms). It's a throwback phone.
Also, the quality of the phone should have been an issue. Nokia is suffering from a near 70% defect ratio in screens over their warranty period, which is over 7 times higher than the next manufacturer. If it weren't for the good service by Verizon, I bet your review would not have been as glowing...
Other than that, very insightful review.

It is $29.95 a month, each contract, each phone plan allows for 800 minutes a month. So we pay $59.90 for 60 minutes - two phone lines. Have yet to go over the allowed usage.
For $19.95 a month you receive less minutes (sorry, cannot remember exact amount). Still is an awesome plan though! We just wanted more minutes.

Man, this really sounds like what I want.
You mention $30 a month for so many minutes (I forgot the exact number), but is that the cheapest deal? Is there a $19.95 plan for less minutes?
I realize you live in Washington and I'm in CA, but I'm assuming Verizon would have some similar deal down here.
