Pros: Light and stylish, with lots of features.
Cons: too bulky, doesn't sync well, disappointing battery life.
The Bottom Line: It's a pretty good choice if you were going to extend your contract anyway, but not something you should rush to T-mobile for.

| eyoshimitsu's Full Review: Nokia 6133 Cell Phone |
We got these phones free by extending our contract. It is a relatively small and light unit with many features. Video and still capture, MP3 playback, voice recording, and organizer features. It also features Bluetooth connectivity. One of my favorite features is the push-button to open. One of my least favorite is the keylock/unlock characteristic. Sure you can lock the keyboard, but upon opening the phone, the keyboard become temporarily unlocked. One of the reasons we got these phones was to prevent unauthorized access by our 1yo DD. We specifically didn't get candybar phones because of the hassle associated with keyboard locking required to prevent jostled pocket dialing. Reception/Sound Quality: Speakerphone is pretty good; both sending and receiving are clear. I've used it in my convertible with the top down and have been able to hear and be heard while driving (because you have to have hands-free in CA now.)
However, call stability is based on calling coverage (ie: based solely on your service provider.) We live in a poorly covered area. Until recently, I was not able to make or receive calls in my home, but I don't believe that the phone is to blame, but rather the coverage. The Good: file transfer via bluetooth was easy, but slow. The Bad: The calendar is virtually useless because it does not integrate with anything I use. I've used Palm Organizer and Works organizer and now iCal, but it doesn't sync with any of them. The Ugly: I'm not thrilled with the battery life. On standby, if you don't get any calls, you can count on a day without having to charge it. If you make some calls or get some calls, you will most likely need to charge it every night. We don't use are phones for much more than checking in with each other and usually use less than 200 min/mo. We need to recharge our phones any day we've made calls.
