| Mangy's Full Review: Nokia 6162 Cell Phone |
I purchased the Nokia 6162 cell phone after looking at hundreds of similar phones. I travel alone much of the time and i wanted a small phone that would fit easilly in my purse or "belly bag". The Nokia is a perfect size and the keys are protected by a small plastic flap which assures me that it won't be broken by other things that are flopping around inside my purse. The owners manual is also small and easy to carry with you or simply stach in your car's glove compartment.
It comes with a battery charger that can be plugged into any home elctrical outlet, but there is also one that can be plugged into the cigarette lighter outlet in your automobile. The features on this phone are too numerous to list here, but the one i like best is the ability to pre-program numbers that you use frequently as well as emergency numbers for the police, fire dept, hospital, etc.
Since we live in Southwest Ohio, I bought the phone from "Cincinnati Bell" which was located inside a "Best Buy" store. There are 16 icons which can show on the screen on the front of the phone. These would tell you at a glance such things as "voice mail messages are waiting" or "unread text messages waiting". There is much more which gives me peace of mind when I am traveling alone. The sound is clear and so far Ihaven't experienced any interference during phone conversations.
