Overall, this is a decent phone. However, there are two problems I had with it. The first one I encountered multiple times (twice) and I ended up switching to a Motorola Startac phone as a result of it. The screen faded on me twice and I couldn't see anything. It went blank, and that made the phone kind of hard to use. I couldn't see my saved numbers, who's calling me, etc.
I think this problem developed as a result of carrying the phone in my pants pocket. That really shouldn't have caused it but that's the only thing I can think of because I never dropped it or anything. Over time, the screen came lose and I had to send it back for a replacement phone. AT&T was great about getting me another phone, but they were not able to carry over all of my saved names, like all 100+ of them. Before I sent the phone back I had to write down all the numbers on paper so I could re-enter them later in the new phone. This was a real pain, I had to sit there and put them all back in and it took forever. There is software you can buy to store the names on your computer so if anything happens to your phone you can just put them on the next phone. I didn't have it, bummer. I asked AT&T/Nokia to buy the software for me since they caused the inconvenience and surprise, surprise they said.......NO.
The other thing I found a bit annoying about the phone is its weight and size. It is just heavy enough in one's pocket to be kind of bothersome. If you plan on taking your phone everywhere and keeping it in a pocket, get a smaller/lighter phone like the Motorola Startac, should be a wee bit cheaper in price.
If those two issues are not a big concern then definitely buy this phone. It's got a lot of talk time, a flip cover and cool menu features with games, calendar and other stuff. The games are horrible though. Then again, I would hope no one is buying it solely for the games.
