I have owned several different cellular phones. Nokia, by far, exceeds the other brands that I have owned.
The 6162 is small, light, and easy to use. It is very clear, most people don't realize that I am on cellular phone. The address book is alphabetical not numeric like many other phones. You can search a particular name with out scrolling through the entire address book. The menu option are easy enough for even the most electronically challenged people to use. The built in alarm clock is very handy feature when traveling--the loud, piercing beeps will wake even deep sleepers! A nice little bonus with this phone is that the caller ID has a time and date stamp. In addition, I have dropped my phone several times. It has several nicks and scratches, but it still works perfectly.
The only option it doesn't have is a vibrating feature. I think Nokia should have eliminated a game or two in favor of this feature. You can, however, purchase a vibrating battery.
