| Salomon160's Full Review: Nokia 6162 Cell Phone |
In the real world market of cell-phones, it very easy to say something like, 'ehh, they're all the same, ill just get a cheap one with a good warranty.' If you don't want great features such as 'Auto-redial', 'Keypad Lock', and 'Voice-Mail Capability', then just go to a local Radio Shack* and ask for a dirt-cheap-no-features-at-all-call-and-answer-only phone, they'll say 'ok' and give you a $35 p.o.s. If you want all of the afore mentioned features plus more, (E.G. Calculator, Nifty Games, paging capability, etc. etc. etc.) your best choice are the Nokia 6160, or the Nokia 6162(They're the same thing, but the 6162 is the flip top). They say things like 'smaller is better' and if you go for this, the 6162 is your choice, but this phone is rather 'flimsy' and awkward to use. I tried out both of these phones, and they were almost the same, but I decided to get the 6160, because it was more sturdy, and it has the wonderful choice of cool face-plates.
