| aaamethyst's Full Review: Nokia 6185 Cell Phone |
I just bought this phone updating from a Nokia 2170. It took a little getting used to, but this has turned out to be a good phone with a lot of advantages.
It's very small, but aren't all new cell phones? It's extremely light-weight. It has a calendar, a calculator, games, many profiles to set, 35 rings, and a large memory for storing phone numbers and missed calls, etc.
As you can see, there are a lot of options most people don't look for in a phone, but they really do come in handy! Everyone has needed a quick calculator, but it is a little difficult to use. The calendar feature allows you to set notes and reminders on certain dates. Games are obviously not important, but there are many situations where you get stuck waiting on someone. The games really make the time fly. As far as the 35 ringing tones, who needs those! It just makes it fun.
The sound is clearer than any cell phone I've ever used. I get fewer dropped calls. The buttons can be a little tough to push at times, but you get used to it. The menu can be kind of confusing at first, but is pretty easy to get through after a couple times. So far, I've had no problem with the battery. With average usage, it will last between 2 and 3 days. It was expensive compared to most phones right now, but there are a lot of advantages to spending a little more.
