| kahli's Full Review: Nokia 6190 Cell Phone |
The Nokia is compact and fits in a pocket, fastens to your belt or you can (ugh) slide it in to a purse which makes it convenient to keep with you all the time. The lcd display is easy to read even at a quick glance and the menu for the options are easily followed. Even if you are not computer literate you can figure out this phone.
There are many interchangeable faces (optional and additional dollars) to choose from so it can be personalized to fit everybody. The antenna is fixed, thick and sturdy so you don't need to worry about losing it or breaking it off.
There are many fun features, my favorite is being able to change the ringing tone. You can make it do the Charleston, the Samba, or even Jingle Bells, plus many more. And if you are bored waiting in line somewhere there are three games you can play, memory, snake or logic, with different skill levels.
The Nokia will let you know which calls you have missed, received or dialed, you can even redial. There are call forwarding and call waiting options, and if you are a little hard of hearing just adjust the call volume.
What I do not like about the phone is that there are neat features, like text messages, built into it, but you have to pay extra in order to access them.
The basics are there also, like the clock, alarm clock and calculator.
A real plus for this phone is that it is not specific to one server, so that when my one year contract is up with Pacific Bell Wireless, I can switch servers with out having to get another phone. That, however, is a another review.
