| mrflibble's Full Review: Nokia 6250 Cell Phone |
I have always opted for the smaller more featured range of mobile phones from Nokia and have never had a phone last more then 10 months. The Nokia 6250 marries technology with real world use. I have successfully used set it for data communications using my Vaio sub-notebook iRDA link, it is WAP enabled and supports mixed text SMS messages plus a host of other hi-tech features. I have intentional dropped it in the pool, tossed it in the garden and bounced it off the tiles and it just laughs it off. Is it pretty? Not really? Is it small? No not really. But, If you need a phone that will handle a heavy hand, go wherever you go (I ride off-road bikes and surf) and keep on working then the 6250 is definitely phone that will do all this without compromising on technical features.
Finally, Nokia has recognised that not everyone will use a phone as fashion accessory. I don't want them so small that I will be afflicted with arthritis in our later years. Oh the battery life is a killer up to 5 hours talk time and 330 hours standby (13.65 days !).
