| periginald's Full Review: Nokia 8860 Cell Phone |
I bought this phone about a year ago when it came out through AT&T wireless. Great to be the only one with the latest gadget. However, it was over-priced them ($799) but the cost has come down a lot (around $350).
The best two things about the phone:
1. The size (small enough to fit in your pants pocket unobtrusively
2. No external antenna to break, bend or poke you.
The worst two things about the phone:
1. buttons are a little tiny
2. volume is low (unless you use the supplied headset.
One year Status Report:
After a year, the phone still works as good as when new. However, it is looking a little ragged, and there are some things rattling inside. The sliding cover is beginning to get suspect. The batteries no longer last 7 days (they hold a charge now no longer than two). I will not go out and purchase replacement batteries, but rather buy a different phone. I am hooked on the small size, however. AT&T service is poor, by the way.
